Greetings everyone! I just joined this forum but have been following a lot of the posts for companies that provide training and it appears that Millis is the most impressive. I submitted the on line app and recall one post that was called within 20 minutes, so my question to all of you is, how long did it take for you to hear from a Millis recruiter after filling out the on line application? And, did you receive a call or notification by mail, Email, all of the above? I'm just wondering because I really do want to start a career in trucking and Millis is my first choice but don't know how long to give them before sending out applications to others. I realize the holidays may play into it, although I'm not sure to what degree. Also, is age a factor with Millis? I'm a very healthy and dependable 58 with a great work ethic, changing careers which doesn't seem to be a problem with many companies but I can understand it being a concern...

Hello and welcome to the Millis Forum, lol. I received a phone call three days after my online application. I thought that was fairly quick, I have heard of quicker responses. I would continue to seek out other options while I waited for a call back anyway, you never know what you might find. Good Luck!

Hi! My app took over a week, but it was not Millis's fault. My previous employer took a long time to return there call for employment verification. So there could be many reasons why some are fast and others take a little longer.JBear0603 Thanks this. -
I would give them 2 days. If you haven't' heard anything give them a call to see if they have received your application.

I first applied to Millis Transfer back in 2003. Still haven't heard from them. I'm beginning to think it may be time to give'em a follow up call. Maybe. Then again, I just might wait another year or two. After all, I don't want to seem needy or desperate.
