How long do you stay out

There are some good videos on You Tube given some from cagy road veterans.

 

Go on and on. I’ll listen to every excuse you have. Everyone else somehow manages to do just fine but yet you can’t. Seems like a you problem

 

And...exactly what is it that I have said that you think is ridiculous? You drive long enough, you run into these various situations.

Like I said, not willing to play a game where 1 min is the difference between pass and fail.

I get it when drivers abuse hours, drive 24-36 hours straight...how they do it, why, that's all beyond my pay grade. If I knew the answers to that, I'd probably have figured out a better way to make a living.

 

I may do 12,000 in a quarter if I'm lucky.

Clearly. I make over 100k a year on an eld so you won’t win with me.

 

I like to do 3 weeks, then take a week off.

The longest I’ve stayed out, 7 months. That seems like forever ago. But during that period of time in my life, it was normal for me to stay out 3-4 months.

You like having an electronic nanny? Good for you. A lot of dogs get used to living in small pens too. Prisoners get used to living in an 8' x 9' cell with Bubba too. It proves you are easily trained and are convinced of something the rest who are just like me aren't. Good for you.

And, why do you make so little?

I know company drivers who make well over 100K a year.

Even if I wanted to use an ELD, there is no place on my truck to plug the thing in!!!
