You know.. there are some very good trainers out there.... it cracks me up, when the assumption here is that all trainers are bad and all students are great students.... there are bad students....
You are supposed to be an adult to get a CDL. ... why drivers stay with a bad trainer is beyond me.. maybe to have stories to tell or to play victim and get lavished with supoort posts....
If you can not get yourself with a good trainer... by that I mean go through the proper channels at your company do get off the bad trainers truck and assigned a new trainer... then, how are you gonna take care of yourself and the responsibilities of your new truck driving career on the road.... are you just gonna let other drivers, shippers, recievers, lumpers, road service walk all over you..
Why do we here constantly hand feed theses new drivers.. then getmad when they cant or dont step up and getvthings done.
How long does it takes to become a trainer

I choose to work for a mega, after having drove for an O/O, then driving for a small family owned and run company.. who took three weeks to get me home when my father had an Aorta Aneurysm rupter.. where 99% dont survive..
The mega I work for got me home in a day when my dog was ill and needed to go to the vet...
I am not ashamed to work for a mega... it has been good for me and my family.. -
He's from Alabama BrenYoda. I think the mentality is maxed out as far as it's going to go. You know the idea that if you got it a truck brought it. Yeah 75 percent of that is from a "mega" I'd approximate based off no hard statistics.
