October of this year will mark 13 years for me, I was with them for 3 years prior to a few year separation but October 15th will be my 10th consecutive year with them, making 13 total. I’ve been with them from the time of being a young man, now about to turn 42 and my perspective has changed, they’re far from the best thing going, but they’re consistent and my dispatcher and I click pretty well which helps a lot.

Did a year with my 1st company, just shy of 6 years with my 2nd, and now 23 moths with my 3rd.

My current place will be my last. Like anything, the bottom could fall out tomorrow, but if I had to get another job it would be in a different field, I couldn't go back to working for a regular trucking company from where I am now.

February made 15 years where I'm at now. 19 years and 9 months at my last employer, the 2009-2010 slow down caused them to go out of business.

That’s a good run @50WT congrats. Also meant to ask, if you care to share, what sector of trucking are you in? I do end dump work in the SE IMG_1521.jpeg

I drive for a wrecker company now. I'm driving the only sleeper truck, step deck, sliding axle, and rgn. But sometimes I may be pulling most anything. Company before this was a pipeline and grading company rgn for them .

Closing in on seven years with my company, doing regional with the occasional stretch of OTR. I hired on with them when I got my CDL-A after 20 years of bus driving. I expected to stay with them for a year or so and then move on to something better, but much to my surprise, I realized that they were a perfect fit for me. Sure, I occasionally want to strangle my dispatcher, but who doesn’t?
