Pretty simple question - how long before the pick up time/date are loads usually booked. I'm sure it varies, but what is the normal time?
How long in advance are loads booked?

Do you mean how long it normally takes a driver to get the load info or how long it takes a company to receive confirmation?
-
Less than 30min unless your in a regular freight lane for the company.

For their normal customers they are probably booked days in advance. For broker freight its booked when needed. If they do lots of business with a broker it may be days in advance as well.

Surprise...I ask a lot of questions before i get involved in something. Not sure why people are getting suspicious. -
Customer freight is normally booked a few days ahead of time and even a couple weeks at times, Broker freight on the other hand you want to book as late as possible, the closer they are to their deadline the more they will pay you.
