how Long does it take to air up tp 100psi on a 15 degree morning? Bendix Bleed diaphragm hung up, after 5 mins it closed and operated properly but it sure took a while to air up. Truck not hooked to a trailer.

Got to keep her warm during these cold days. I'm going to fire mine up now & shut her down before I leave for tonight. I'll idle her at 1100 for about 2 hours. It is going to get that cold or colder in pa tonight.

It has an electric heater where it exhausts. It took that long for it to warm up.
A trick to keep it from happening again.
When you park and shut down for the day, pump the brakes to get the compressor to activate. Then maybe ten psi before it cuts out, shut the truck off. Then the purge valve will be closed for the night.

    This is a great idea!
It took just under 30 minutes at idle to reach 110 PSI, others On here have these same
    Experiences?
I think with wind chill it was probably zero degrees out

Guys,..if you know your going from a hot to a cold region, before it gets to cold outside, stop and drain your air tanks.
By removing the moisture out of the tanks early, it will help keep everything from freezing up.

very true my friend but the issue is before the tanks and not in the tanks. You can have water in the tanks and it can freeze not causing any problems becuase the water obviously lays at the bottom. The air lines running in and out of the tanks are on the top
