How long till a serious accident falls off your record

So I found out earlier this year that a fatal accident that I was involved in I was ruled at fault. What basically happened was a moped operator in New York was operating a 150cc moped or as new york considers it a motorcycle on the sidewalk and he hit a street sign and fell under my truck as I was going through the intersection. The officer would later give me a failure to obey traffic signal on instruction from his supervisor though he had told me that he didn't believe I ran the stop sign however because TVB hires their own judges and the fact that my lawyer didn't even really defend me (All he did was confirm the officers testimony and I had to contact the bar to get that out of him) I was inevitably convicted though I did get my license back though there is a suspension on my record do them only giving me 2 weeks for a medical review I',m also still eligible for a CDL.

 

It kinda sucks because it really wasn't my fault in the slightest
A: The guy didn't have a license to operate the Motorcycle
B: The Motorcycle wasn't properly registered or insured
C: The guy was operating it on the sidewalk
D: You couldn't see the guy on the dashcam

I think the reason why I was charged is because it's a big issue in New York with New Yorkers operating moped's improperly and the police are responsible for doing confiscating them and handing out fines and arrests which as a resident of Harlem I can assure you they don't do. I've been nearly ran over several times crossing the Macombs Dam Bridge right infront of police and they don't do anything. So I think they tried to blame me for this.

 

Honestly at this point my lawyer has greatly upset me. Not only did the scumbag lose but he refused to even tell me what happened and while I did learn what happened in his reply to the bar this scumbag tried to pull rep. I don't care who you worked for and how bad you think I am why did you not tell me any information related to my case? Because of that I will never hire a lawyer again I'd rather fight it myself and if I lose i'm going to try my hardest to take the whole state down with me.

 

I couldn't find a job in NYC anyways so I moved to Maryland but anyways can someone tell me how long it takes for these accidents to fall off.
