Nothing but their conscience is stopping them and the actions of some of their disgruntled customers. File a complaint with the local/state bar association. Don't expect the lawyer to become someone else, but most people don't do research before hiring a lawyer. Adding to his record of complaints at the bar association will tip off future customers IF THEY LOOK AT HIS RECORD.

It's no longer safe to rely on the presumed competence for anyone or any industry. You will live long enough to see every bedrock person and industry we used to see as solid turning into a shady used car lot.

Certainly the longest run-on sentence I have seen.

You are accused of killing someone and you hire a ticket lawyer. Wow.....

I replied to him via PM, but here is the problem he has. NY has a weird rule about listing accidents on the MVR, if you are a resident all accidents whether or not the person is at fault - it is listed as an accident, and what happened - fatality, personal injury, and/or property damage. If there was a conviction, it would be listed as a conviction but not an accident.

This was for the ticket they gave me not for the fatal accident. The conviction of the stop sign is what makes it an at fault accident.

As I said, you have only the ticket on the MVR, the other information won't stop you, you are green to go.
