How long you take at pumps

i try to do 2 things all the time; treat others the way I want to be treated, and I don't want to be hassled by anyone, so, I don't give them a reason to hassle me! I'm not always successful but I spend most days smiling and don't complain too much. Looks like your doing the same things!

 

I like fueling at the mom n pop truck stops better as well.With the mega carriers,they have to fuel where there company tells them and most the time its the worst trk stop they give you.Werner was notorious for that.

 

That is the advantage of the new SCR trucks. You can put diesel in the fuel tank and pee in the DEF tank at the same time. Now stop being rude and going inside to the bathroom and pee wasting everybody else's time!

( following my advice is not always a good idea, you may want to run this suggestion by you safety, fleet, or maintenance manager first. Just be sure to say it with a straight face and make sure they know you are serious.)

When hazmat on probably about 20 minutes because I feel one tank up at a time...the tire kick and visual no leak inspection

 

Company policy if u have hazmat load on you have to fuel one tank at a time

 

I do that sometimes. Just set the pump to the slowest setting until you get back.

As for legal or safe? Meh...

 

Watched a guy spray painting the back bumper of his trailer today at the fj in Sioux Falls. He was there at the fuel island spray painting his bumper on the trailer, have video. The donkey was with Fargo Transport will have to check the camera video from my truck for the unit number. Lots of parking but he had to do it right in the fuel island what a mental midget.

 

Did you say something to him? Or just come in here and piss and moan?

 

You know what he just didn't care what anyone had to say. So I figure he likely had an incident didn't want the company finding out so he was painting over the rust and old paint. Being from Fargo area myself I may just bump into him again some day and will again ask if he is really that stupid.
