Man here at truck parking has 5 trucks
Can't keep drivers
Dose not maintain his equipment
Safety shut him down and terminated his lease on all of his junk.
Now what ?Albertaflatbed, JoeyJunk, gentleroger and 1 other person Thank this. -
For a short time I was hired to 'improve' a private companies trucking division that moved Hazardous Waste into and out of a sister company.
I didn't last too long, the owner of the companies wondered why our margin was only 10% and did not like the response.
When the 'sister' asked him to have our company meet all their transportation needs instead of paying a multitude of outside carriers.
Then they 'sold' the idea by setting rates based on the cheapest prices they had going to the various land fills and incinerators projecting a major savings...FOR THEM ! ! !
Fortunately the person doing the job had started backhauling any of the van loads he could averaging around 10% in the black after all.
Somehow, the owner [owned a number of other companies, had been he mayor of his town] was expecting a greater return from garbage.
A lot of the load boards are shipping the lowest paying freight in existence. and the OP [troll or just unknowing] expects to profit form the bargan basement work...
Not the best company culture.FullMetalJacket, TripleSix, JoeyJunk and 3 others Thank this. -
