How many miles do you guys get?

Not me.
Rather have a devil tell me straight than an angel lie.

 

Like everything else it varies from state to state. Some states let you run the speed limit others limit you heavily depending on your dimensions.

Worst ive run into is Illinois on a 14'10" wide load. Speed limit on the permit was minimum posted speed. If there was no minimum I was limited to 35mph. On the interstate the minimum posted is 45mph. Driving from St. Louis to Rockford is a really long way at 45mph.

Ohio is 55mph max and they are strict on that.

Missouri is usually 10mph below posted speed.

 

Don't forget Michigan. IMO, the worst of the worst.

Yea I'm aware of Michigan. One of their troopers was kind enough to let me know the one time I did 66 through there.

 

Last time I went through there, i had one stop me for a Level One at -19. He comes from under the truck complaining about the cold.

 

Ha.

I've never hauled a permit load through MI.

 

I hate Michigan. 50mph on the interstate, 35 mph everywhere else. Took 2 days between the extremely slow speeds, and all the DOT cops with a hard on for OSOW. They're so broke that they have to have creeper parties in minus 19 weather.
