How many miles do you like to see when shopping a truck?

Just getting into the owner-op scene. Got a 379 with over a million miles on it and im dumping money in hand over fist....its a 91. Time to upgrade already!
What kinda mileage do you guys feel comfortable with on a used truck? When do they start coming apart at the seams?
I'm looking at an 05 Volvo 670 and a couple 06 Columbias with mileage around 400,000 on both of them...is there anything that really puts one truck substantially ahead of the other? Thanks!

The Freightliner trucks begin falling apart after they leave the factory in Mexico. If those are your only choices, take the Volvo. It holds it's resale value a lot better then the Freightliner.

Take the Freightliner. Lot more places to get repairs. they will do the job just fine if you take care of them. I drive 2 that both have over 600k. Mechanically they are ok. Interior sucks. Plastic parts always letting go. Water leaks to fix. But have needed parts in nowhere . Got them to leave parts after hours in Minot. If you can, find a good KW. T-800, 600,900. Lots of great deals now if you look around hard.
