Just replaced my xza3+ with new of the same. Got about 180,000 miles on old ones and they had 6/32 left. Centramatics were installed for about half of their life. One side had a bite out of it and would have cost me if I had a thorough level 1. It cost me .0105 per mile for those steers. Right on my target of .01 per mile per axle for 5 axle/80,000.

Interesting! Did you install the centramatic on last half of life?
Did you install centramatic cause you were seeing problems like the bite?

Installed them only for the continuous balancing. Had them on a previous truck and worked great so I bought them for this truck. Just was when I got around to doing it. I wish I had put them on sooner.

Got my XZA3+ tires a few weeks ago at Allied Tiire in Des Moines for $452.98 + $25.23 FET each. Total cost of $956.42. On top of that, Allied gave me $150 each, $300 total, for the old tires so final cost for both steer tires, on tires alone, was $656.42. Obviously, not including new stems, mounting, balancing, which was not much. The old tires still had 8-9/32 tread, no uneven wear.

I used Centramatics on my last truck and liked them. This time around, I started using Balance Masters. Same idea, but different approach. Getting 210,000 out of the first set of steers, and 237,000 out of the second set of steers, I am content.

Thats a fantastic price. Best I found for them was $525,.. was told that was whole sale.

I'm at 109k mi on my current XZA3+ and showing roughly 70% tread. No cupping or irregular wear on the edges. Getting same results as last pair. I got 215k out of them. I expect the same with these.

My last ones were doing fine until they got to about 180 - 190k,.. then I started noticing the edges cupping a bit on the driver side. May have been caused by letting one tire drop to 100 PSI for about a week. Not sure if dirt got stuck in valve stem or how it happened. Aired back up and stayed good. But was a losing battle after that.
