How many miles on a D13 before inline or overhaul?

Im in a 19 mack with the mp8 motor has 108k miles on it and having turbo issue already.

 

I know the thread is old but..... Looking at a
2010 VOLVO VNL64T300 with a D13 410k on motor. They’re asking 42k. I’ve never drove a Volvo but a guy I work with says he loves them. Any thoughts? Should I run or bite?

 

How many engine hours? This is just as important as the mileage.

 

It’s not mentioned in the ad but it is a day cab. I have heard 50/50 split on reliability of these trucks. It’s my first one so kind of nervous

 

I bought a used volvo day cab just over a year ago. I've put about 105k miles on it since and its been a great truck to me. Only major repair was the EGR cooler and DEF tank sending unit. Everything else has been a minor p.i.a. that I've just had to spend time troubleshooting myself. Bought with 556k on it, now sitting at 661k.
