For the million-plus mile drivers, answer me this: please tell me that you at least have your own truck by now, lol!!!

Yeah, but congratulations for you guys' hard work, your constant struggles out on the road, the time spent away from your families, and the sacrifices that you have made to keep America moving.

Being a young and fairly new driver, if I were to calculate my current per-mile wage (0.31) by 1 million, that would come out to......whoops, gotta go! My slave-master approaches with whip in hand! How do I start my truck, how do I start my truck!!!???

I really don't know how many miles I have, but for the last 17 years I drove local and we only went about 60000 miles a year. That is more than a million. I got my chauffers license in 1967 I think it was so I would guess between 2 and 3 to be on the conservative side. Had a few tickets but only 1 accident that was my fault. Retired last year and don't miss it.Having a ball in Italy

I stopped keeping up with it due to the fact I am not one to put a giant sticker on my Truck advertising "Million Mile Club" After 16 years on the road I am sure that it is around 1.8 or better as it takes around 9 to 10 year to get a million. And I sure did not get them with out incident, tickets anyway. Gotta love the Buckeye,Commistfornia and well we all know about arkansas.

I got about 14 years and not much over 1 million because of all the local/regional running I've done.

Ready to Retire also. I dont want to see a truck for at least 1 year. But the Trucking Industry was very good to us, way back when.

Experienced Truckers' , new here, but not new to driving. Finally a site with only, Experienced Truckers' postings. Love to hear the good old days of driving. I tip my hat to all of you drivers here. Many miles of driving, many years out there. Trucking schools, I walked into a company in 1974, no class (D)drivers license, boss walks up to me, says "You know how to drive?" I says "Yes, sir", go get your picture taken, they had access to the secretary of state, to authorize a CDL. Been trucking since. But really tired of it. You guys know the feeling, some times. Some truckers, will drive till there last breath. Thats the ultimate trucker. Great to find this site.

I have never really tried to add it up, but I'm pretty positive it should be around a million. I've been driving for 12+ years but sometimes I may do more tree work, then driving so some years I may get 130,000 miles, and other years I may only get 60,000 miles.
