Two million miler here. I got my first 'Million Miler No Accidents Award' from GTS back in 2001. I went down in the corporate office getting my back slaps, $2000 bonus, a very cool plaque, a million miler leather jacket and new truck assignment. It was pretty cool.
After the dust settled my dispatcher calls me over to give me my next load assignment going to Dallas for a little time off with a sweetie I was seeing down there. Manoman...It was a really great day! I was feeling quite full of myself. I then headed to the shop to back my shiney new Freightshaker out and get her loaded up to head out. That's when I promptly backed into a parked four wheeler. LOL...It's a long fall from the top, aye?
How many Million Milers do we have?

Just a few more things to set in place and then I'll be watching from the side lines
,I'll never "leave' trucking or say I'll never drive again.
But the future of this industry is well past being a secure investment.

Just intend to keep it that way.Dave 1960 Thanks this.
