Since September of '89 I estimate I have approximately 2.2-2.5 million miles. I'm a O/O but spent 21 years as a company driver. The company that I worked for didnt keep up with miles. I guestimated my miles figuring 100,000 mile as year, which is pretty accurate to what I actually ran each year.

but what i was getting to with that was there were drivers in those slow ### frieght trucks have 3 million around thier 25 to 28 years. thats alot for the lanes and the amount those could cover under mainly a 10 hours of service day. but the could report back on duty in 8 hours and they never took a day off. alot of those guys die in the truck and never drew that great pension we put up with th bs for....be safe and look out fot yjose who shouldnt be in a truck and get another million. at roadway driver with 3 million got his own brand new tractor with his name on it and he was the only person to drive it and if you ever worked for a slip seat operation that means alot.. that is a huge accomplihment to have 4 million miles incedent and ticket free. that isnt to hard at my age but when i first started with those manual moters ,straight pipes and watch that smoke roll and lose site of the truck behind you. log books was an option pretty much. those were the days when good time gangs would hook up every trip , but thats atotal diffrent thread, those over a million and more with a great saftey record hope you keep it till your ready to quitDave 1960, kerosene jockey and puncher Thank this. -
I'm coming up on one million in a few months approximately otr. I've drove and hauled equipment most of the time since 1979 but technically otr is about 15000 to 20000 away from my million mile safe mark.

I'm at or real close to three million miles with
six months as a owner O/O. Started driving semi
in 1987. No tickets or accidents, one minor prev.
According to Kevin Rutheford number of years or
mileage means nothing. LOL -
