One Gear stick and Power steering--o wait todays trucks--u mean like a 2013? Never mind these trucks have absolutely NO SOUL--mines an 05--and it is borderline--LOL--
But seriously cant compare--apples and oranges--I just feel lucky to remeber the differnce--although IF I HAD MY WAY--some of the ease of operation of the brand new trucks NEEDS to be engineered out--u would be surprised how much better of a driver--all NEW drivers would become if they were FORCED to pay a east a little bit more attention--IMHO

Was it sort of a faded red color ...... paint code 'Mack R Red' ? I think we shared the same truck !! Did it smell ? I always thought Mack R's smelled like an old lunch can until one day I found out why. I dropped my lighter and found an old, completely un-eaten, rotten, moldy, brown bag lunch under the 'milk crate' seat.

Yep it was red! Not faded but it sure did smell. A few months later and I moved up to a '77 Mack R with a 300HP engine. Woooo! ;)
