I started in 1980 and had my only accident in 1981. I crossed over the interstate and hit another truck head on. I was in a 1972 KW Cab over driving like a maniac like most people do today. My last speeding ticket was in 1998 and I have mostly been OTR. Not sure about the exact miles but I've been in all 48 states and all provinces of Canada and Nova Scotia. In 35 years I have to have 3,000,000 miles.
How many Million Milers do we have?

I have 2.1 million with my present company and I had more than a million when I started. I've never had a chargeable accident and I've never gotten a ticket but I got lots of stories and close calls.
Wargames, W900AOwner and Pullin2 Thank this. -
The close calls are more frequent than ever nowadays...
bzinger, spanky9067 and jbatmick Thank this. -

Too bad "cubic feet of cargo" doesn't count. Its hard to do a million ( I have ) when you're never less than 14' wide or 15' high.
Hammer166 and MooneyBravo Thank this. -
You have a valid point. I used to run permit loads back in the early 90's for Ohio Northern out of Cleveland, Oh.

1.2 mil and some change..knock on wood no tickets, no accidents, no bumps or scratches, no speeding tickets.

Hammer166 Thanks this.
