I'll be handing out candy. I actually like doing it.
In my quarter century on the road, I've seen ONE truck (in front of me) get a Pumpkin dropped on it from an over-pass in Ashville, NC.
I've heard a lot of stories...some believable, others not.
How many of you get off the road before dark on Halloween ?

I hit a water balloon that was hung from a viaduct at Monee, IL, circa 1973. The empty balloon stuck to the wiper blade. There was glass on the dashboard. I continued to our Gary, IN terminal and asked the dispatcher to re-power the load. The body shop in Ottawa, IL, could locate a left windshield for the IH cabover, but not a right windshield; they are not interchangeable. When I got back to work two weeks later, I bob-tailed to the Gary terminal and discovered that my load was still there. They forgot to re-power it. I delivered the load of aluminum coils to a siding manufacture in Jackson, MI, two weeks late. They didn't even miss it.

Lot lizzards will be knockin' all night for your candy. But I never open my door for them because they always look spooky to me.
