How many of you OTR cross border guys will actually quit because of the mandates?

A local Winnipeg guy I know will be quitting his job shortly. His company occasionally goes to the states and is under the impression that the whole staff needs the be vaccinated whether they go there or not . Him and both mechanics will be leaving if that’s the case..

 

Not correct. Only the driver will have to be vaccinated. I hope people don’t do anything rash until we see something in writing on this.

 

I'm not going to worry about vaccination, I'm just going to gargle with bleach and inject some DEF and I'll be good.

Already got a local gig lined up, probably was going to leave for a local gig but that got sped up with the proposed mandate.

 

So far only the driver requires vaccine
If the driver is mandated then so should the rest of the staff he comes in contact with at his terminals.
I’m vaccinated and dont go into terminals ,mainly because a 2 pack a day smoker is always hanging around dispatch horkin’ and wheezing
I have not looked at the numbers but we really got to eliminate 85 million human beings for the health of the earth and Covid is doing a fine job of reaching those numbers

 

Probably a slightly higher number than quit over elogs and seat belts.
