how many times can you be given a random inspection in a week

During a blitz about 6 or 7 years ago, I got stopped 3 times in one day, and not one ticket for anything. From that point on everytime they have a blitz I sit at home that week, no sense waving meet in front of the lions.

I usually get one a year, the only place that seems to give me fits is north bound on I-55 as soon as I cross the bridge into west Memphis Arkansas, they pull me around back probably 8 out of 10 times I go through there. NO other chicken coup in the country hits me like they do. Everytime they pull me in, they always have the same line. Driver did you stay up all night polishing those wheels? I just tell them no, I pay someone else to do that. OK let me see your log book, the rest of your paperwork and we are going to do a level 2 on you. An hour later I get to leave.

 

Geez,who pissed off La.Troops? There had to be a D.O.T. sitting every 5 miles.ugh I finally get to my customer,and I'll be dayumed if Johnny Law flips his lights on and pulls me over for level 3 right out in the boondox. It just stopped raining,so he was not going to get dirty . Are they serious with the consistent harassment ? I have a new truck , shiny,and always spotless. Maybe it was for D.U.I's for the 4th of July...Right before that went thru the coop and they were standing outside checking logs.

 

Twice in 22 hours is my record. Just a basic paperwork and lights check. Is that level 1 or 3? I can never remember which is which.

 

Yeah sounds like it, she is the only full time DOT female officer in southern AL, and even her boss calls her that. She cuts people no slack at all.

Yeah they told me that when they handed me my paperwork, but apparently not for a level three. He did appreciate me handing him previous inspection but still rechecked everything.

 

well if you passed the first one you should have gotton a cvsa sticker.
