I read an article from the Montley Fool, they had a meeting with someone high up in the trucking industry. I forget his name and I don't have the time at this moment to dig for it.
But driverless technology was mentioned as an alternative to relieve driver shortage issues. In short he said driverless technology has its place in trucking but manned trucks will be needed for the foreseeable future (a long time). -
