I spend about $150 a week on mostly truck stop grub. Breakfast burrito for breakfast, subway or taco bell for lunch, and sometimes i put a can of soup on the turbo to warm it up and then eat it for dinner with crackers. Always keep canned food on the truck for the times you cant get someplace to eat.
How much a week do you spend on food?

I like the salads some of the Pilot's have. $2.99 for the side and a buck or two more for the bigger ones. The whole fruit is a fair price at the loves. $9 for soup and salad bar at the TA I like also.
If you pack all your own food PBJ and can goods. I don't use a fridge or any appliances. The cost to run truck to use doesn't really save money. I usually spend about $75 a week. More when I eat at the restaurants. -
you may get to entertain yourself with a onboard savings account to be transferred or use later on or ?
unless you stick with a plastic card that wears out. plastic bags and receipts can act as an aid to read the card, then there's the chip in card which I don't have.Last edited: Mar 29, 2016

The best thing about the electric kettle is I use it many times a week to heat water for a "shower". I bought a big plastic bin to stand in along with a garden sprayer with a hand wand and boom- instant bunk shower, I haven't gone a day without a shower or waited in line for one in almost 3 years.roadmap65 Thanks this. -
