space enough to stand all the way up, lay all the way down, take one step forward and one step back, if standing sideways space enough to get one lateral raise, if sitting on a bucket space enough to get one full overhead arm extension. I can vacuum the whole floor in 15 seconds, I can wipe down every square inch in 5 minutes, always at home, the commute is putting on pants and moving to the driver seat. Some days I'm still nervous they're going to find me out and put me back in an office :biggrin_25515:

You can see the sleeper controls for heat and a/c. Then you got the inverter that runs the TV and microwave and truck has 4 regular 120v power plugs. Then cabinets for clothes and stuff. Cool led light in ceiling. Last picture is Tablet for ELD and GPS navigation and satellite radio. It all free, if driving a company truck.

Isn't kombucha a fermented drink that has some alcohol content? And also is gross?

    Yes. It is slightly alcoholic.

I believe you are correct. I didn't watch the video, making my comment/guess off the still shot only. Truck looks to be in great shape, will make some collector happy.

And the seat, yes a huge improvement over what was stock issue in those days!

This conversation reminds me of the line that I’ve heard a few times ...

    “Son, if you like Camping,
    ... you’ll love Trucking”

I remember the trucks that my Dad would drive every now and then, in addition to his regular Civil Servant job... ya, two seats and a coffin in back.

Back in 2014 I saw the Truck that my wife’s son was driving... ya, little RV comes to mind... nice enough that I started looking at switching careers from Accounting/Auditing to Driving.

Now I’m OTR and loving it... much rather roll out of bed and into the Drivers Seat than head to the office...

    the view is much better
    and ever changing too.

Love my Volvo 860 ... two beds, refrigerator, microwave, tv, inverter, Blah Blah Blah... everything i “need” in a truck...

No need to do laundry while OTR (I do it during home time) but if I need to I can at our terminal or truck stop... showers at most Loves are very big, bright, clean... I actually grab a shower before getting home as that’s my routine.

I have unlimited data on my iPhone and iPad... and basic wifi for my GPS, etc... almost as good as home for one person (not a family of five)

I much prefer driving OTR in my little RV and going home for 4-5 days a month than reporting to the office 8-5 plus extra time... commuting to and from... wearing a tie... etc etc etc.

I am enjoying life OTR in my little RV and enjoy seeing friends and family across the country during my “home time”.

    Life ain’t perfect,
    but it wasn’t before.

    cheers!!!

    Moosetek13 Thanks this.

I have all of these things in my truck. Most people do unless they're company drivers.

I just picked up a Switch for those days I'm parked and not going anywhere. That thing can play Skyrim and if you are gamer at all you can easily play that one for long hours. League of Legends the most popular game played world wide is going to offer a Switch version later this year.

I've also got a tablet for Netflix and Prime Video that I connect to my phone when I want to watch movies. No TV needed. I would rather be running and working, but we can't keep the truck running all the time unfortunately. Especially when they send us to New York. That run has tons of downtime for whatever reason.
