How much can legally hang over the side of a flatbed?

you say 49, i thought the us had 50 states so do you stay out of CA? Had a ruff couple days here with a funeral and work. Seen the post n had to comment.

 

Congress hasn't built the bridge to Hawaii yet.

 

Has anyone ever been cited for tarp bulge/ballooning?

 

For whatever it's worth, my securement/training instructor at Landstar said a driver was cited for being an oversize load without permits and signage, due to the size of the wind filled tarp - apparently it (the tarp) was pretty bad, from the way it was described, as in the driver's vision would have been seriously obstructed - maybe even billowing out past the lane markers.... I don't remember exactly but I just took away the mental note that it does matter.

 

Did you take it when Steve was teaching or did you take it with Pete in Dallas?
