$1.96 all mile running a flat in the northeast regional. 79180 miles total all miles the truck was driven for work, to the shop for repairs and some personal use to shows and such. Not the best this year but i had more out of route miles because i went home every night this year and my average deadhead was around 100 miles. Had over 3 months off and off every weekend.

I know drivers that do that as well. Worst part is, I know more drivers that have no clue how much they made or how many miles they ran. I even know a bunch who do not review their pay statements and just keep on driving down the road. Amazes me how they manage sometimes

This seems like a LS thing because of the size but trust me a lot of drivers working percentage don't have clue.

I'm personally looking for a program or spreadsheet that i can use. Type in all my info from each settlement and let it do the work for me. Right now, I just keep a ledger and it's a PITA to update it on my off time after being on the road for a few weeks. I know of a few, but I also know there are some free one's out there as well.

I know microsoft exel is an easy way to keep up with everything. Lots online videos with step by step instructions. Its kind of depressing when you see the final number but its a fun program. My wife does all of her managing with it.

Yes, Landstar has a spreadsheet they designed for use on Exel, but unfortunatley my laptop did not come with MS office or Exel installed on it. So I would have to spend the $ and go buy a copy, then install it. Which might not be very expensive, just a PITA... i'll look into it tho, thanks for the heads up.
