I know that the price looks good but from experience, dropping the reman in takes as long as doing an in-frame and the core would not be accepted for the C16. C16's are so much in demand that it is had to find one now, reman or rebuildable core.

I was thinking 30k is really high on price. Wonder if something else major was done that he is forgetting?

Ok so I see the actual inframe was only 19k. You just had a bunch of other dumb stuff done for your own peace of mind. Alot of which you could've done very easily yourself. Guess you also never heard of that saying...."if it ain't broke, don't fix it"?

    No offense intended.

Oh one other thing. Your proper o'haul wasn't done properly. You'll probably be back with a liner cracked or head gasket blown out. You should've had them do the other 5 holes when they did #4 counterbore.

Just for shiits and giggles you should've had them pull the front cover too.

#4 was the only one that needed it. They said the other five were perfect. 112k since overhaul and no problems yet. Knock on wood...

3406B doing all of the work myself.

Inframe kit and gaskets, new rods and mains, rebuilt head, new injectors, turbo reused. Reseal front cover ( hate 3406B front covers, always leak behind #### compressor where two internal bolts are. new water pump.
Oil, Filters and coolant. 5600.00, 1/2 gallon Fireball, two cases of beer, lots of lies and good times spent with friends and co-workers.... priceless :D
