How much do you spend a week to live on the road solo?

Applebees is junk too: for 15-20 a meal when I eat well on 60-70 dollars a week..

 

I would rather have Subway...or beans.

 

Growing up we were never allowed fast food unless it was a birthday "treat". From the age of 10 I could prepare my own meals, cooked meals, not PBJs.

I do laundry at home, as i carry enough clothes to last a month if need be. I use my shower coupons to take a shower, or i get them free at some of the places i load/unload, i only eat from certain truck stops (with restaurants), mostly eat out of my truck. Spend about 150.00 in food a month at Wally World and stock truck up. Have coffee pot inside, microwave, 3000 watt inverter, television, DVD player, and if that does not satisfy my wants. I have a big radio so i may cause all kinds of hate and discontent with drivers.lol

 

Yep. No disagreements here.

 

I probably spend about 60 bucks a week at wallyworld and eat quite well. Cereal for breakfast, turkey sammy for lunch and grilled chicken strips for dinner. I can’t eat truck stop food or i’d be 400lbs and diabetic. I’m 6’3 190

 

I tried teaming but they all ask to get off the truck after a day or two. Can't figure out why, I suspect they just don't have the fortitude to be a real trucker.
