I got one of the newest mifi units (5510L) from Verizon earlier this month, and the service has been really good. I don't get the greatest service in the Montana boonies, but I'm not there a lot.

I got two $60 cards with it and when I use the second one up, probably going to buy the 10gigs for $90 so I can go nuts. Doubt I'd use it all, though. Once it gets close to the end, I can download a movie on iTunes to eat it all up.

Being from Canada, that's my only good option. Looked at Millenicom's byod service, but as another mentioned, the footprint is not good and I don't want to be tied to a truck stop which has crappy Internet.

Verizon 22 gig data plan for $100. went over 6 gigs last month so thats another $60 :tard:

Even at $10 per gig overage it's still cheaper than TS wifi as it's too slow to download much of anything on a 10hr break.
