I haven't seen that one and it doesn't sound like one I would want to watch anyway.

I agree that he is intelligent, probably more so that he portrays himself to be at times, but either way I can't knock him. I just know that when I was 22 I didn't have the frame of mind for OTR trucking whereas he appears to be doing quite well at it.

He was on here not too long ago and seemed quite pleased that he wasn't paying insurance for his personal car because he hardly drives it, so he still gets a ding from me for that one.

Why is it so bad not to insure a car when you are out on the road for over a month of the time? I'm debating on dropping my car insurance too after i drive for awhile. No sense on paying for something you never use.

My two cents... i eat one big meal a day, now when I say big meal I mean anything from a Subway and cookies, to a sit down at anywhere, Applebees or whatever. I dont often cook in the truck, i agree with another poster that said after working long hours, thats the last thing I want to do. Now as for the truck, I carry milk and eat cereal, chips, crackers, snacks and junk food, as well as things i can heat up in the microwave, such as popcorn, oatmeal, or leftovers from the applebees. I tend to drop about $15 bucks a day, home every three days for so, I NEVER PAY FOR ICE OR DRINKS, I use my free huge cups and fill my cooler every day when i fuel with free ice from the soda fountain at pilot, and I carry 12 pk of coke and sprite, (my fav bevs) and keep them in the cooler, i will also carry the apples and caramel, yogurt, ect if i want to mix it up every couple of days....besides thats what per diem is for! LOL JK

If the car is going to be parked and won't be used while not insured then that is an excellent idea. He was claiming that the tickets he got for driving with no insurance while on hometime were still cheaper than paying for insurance so that is why he didn't insure his car.

It's only full of germs if you don't keep the truck clean...the same would apply to any household or professional restaurant kitchen.

I dare say that there will be quite a few of the former that are kept cleaner than the latter.
