How much do you talk on the phone everyday?

well you shouldn't be talking on the phone while driving, as its a BIG FINE when you get caught. but for me, when i was on the road, i'd call daily for about 5 to 10 minutes tops.

 

What phone????? When I was on the road it was nice to get away from the darn things.

 

hands free allows for conversation...just like if someone was sitting in the passenger seat beside ya or in your own vehicle while at home. I think my ear piece is a permanent fixture most days, everyone calls me on my cell for some reason must admit I can use both hands to get more done and mulit-tasking is awesome.

 

although the blue tooth or whatever they are called, are safer and more convenient to use than say a handset or the actual cell to one's ear, i just cannot find myself THAT important to have such a device. frankly, i DON'T SEE ANYONE being that important to have any such device implanted into thier ear. if its such a darned important phone call, then they can call back.... otherwise, leave a freaking voice mail.....!!!!

but to be driving down the road MAKING OR RECEIVING simple and sometimes useless phone conversations just isn't in it for me.

i am so incest with 4 wheelers and other ignorant types of people at the doctors office, movie theater, and just about every place else on thier cell phones. i find NO reason to be constantly on the darned thing......NO ONE IS THAT IMPORTANT......to be rude and interuptive of my peace and tranquility.

 

People that are always yammering on the phone are very insecure and need constant reassurance that someone is with them.I mean they are talking about the most trivial things just to make conversation.When I was a kid we didn't even have a phone in the house till I was in HS. and then it was a party line.I don't own a cell phone if someone wants to talk to me they leave a message on my landline,I check it when I have the time to talk.I knew a guy that chucked his company issued beeper into the Atlantic Ocean because they kept interrupting his vacation.They issued him a new one when he got back from his scheduled vacation.
...My kids are always texting each other on their cells(which they pay for),they think I'm a dinosaur cause I don't own a cell.My wife carries a pay as you go phone just in case she gets stuck some where and has to call AAA.

No, they do not.

If you would read the laws, you would find that using it hands free or speaker phone is not illegal.

I live in a state that only makes texting illegal.
