I recently completed my first year OTR with one of the large fleet companies. I'd like to get into tankers and am interested in applying with a few local/regional tanker truck companies. I don't have any tickets. I did, however, have a small incident with a parked truck where my open trailer door hit the other trucks trailer. The only damage was minor - to my trucks trailer door, none to the other trucks trailer. My question is, if I apply for a job with another company, is it likely that my current employer will talk about this incident if another company enquires about me? If so, how much of a problem is this for me as far as getting a job with another company is concerned? How many years of good driving have to go by before this incident is considered not that big a deal anymore?

    Thanks
