I bet you had a blast on the subway or the bus! That $2.25 ticket is like paying for a comedy central act!
I so miss NYC! One of the most fun places to visit!
How much free time do you have on the road?

Once you get into the groove and know your areas of frequent travel your time restraints ease up. Usually I have plenty of time to do something like go out on the town or to a show etc. if I really wanted to daily. Sometimes you wont have the time or just the location you are at doesn't make leaving your truck parked safely an easy thing to do, so you hang out in the truck. Another factor is costs, how much to get around and do those things, its an experience thing really.

you would be amazed at the places along the road where you can stop for a couple of hours and kill time. they may be tourist trap museums and such, but if you have enough time to spare on a run, they will break up the monotony.
lupe Thanks this. -
I-10 "The Thing", I-40 Meteor Crater, I-4 Disney World, There is a shipper that mines potash and they are located right in the middle of Arches National Park. I thought I was being "played" when I was told to go there for a pick up! There are many more maybe I will start a new thread and everyone can contribute!

I can leave the truck and go sit in a sex shop for 10 hours then be legal to drive... Nothing says you have to sleep! -
