Especially if your a new driver. says up to 58000 per year* I'm assuming experience plays into this? Does this count ALL bonuses too? Does this count 3k signing bonus as well.
So what does a NEW Driver really earn?

UP TO.... call a recruiter, the bonus is likely to be lower as will pay. But it is out and back 3x a week, don't think you are going to hit that 58000 a year mark. But it is a ok place to start, and sleep at home alot

I've seen these jobs posted continuously for my area as well and wondered what the catch is and why they can't keep drivers in these dedicated jobs. I'm all ears too!

Probably would get a better response asking in the Schneider sub-forum at http://www.thetruckersreport.com/truckingindustryforum/schneider/.

Read everything carefully but I think it is all true.

Bonuses are usually paid out over time, not right at sign-up. It may say $6,000 sign on bonus in bold print but it also says $3,000 for inexperienced drivers and it is up to them what they consider inexperienced, you probably need at least a year for them to consider you experienced.

“Truck drivers earn up to $0.395 per mile”
    “Up to $58,000 per year”

The key words in those 2 sentences are “up to”, that doesn’t mean that is what you will make. The $58,000 per year would include the bonus and be for an experienced driver, they will always make it look as good as possible.

Ask in the Schneider sub-forum what people are actually making.

I worked this acct for a year.. let me tell you they have that sign on bonus for a reason. You wont make anywhere near that. Also it is a very mismanaged acct. I also worked out of il on a walmart acct for sni that was great but we lost that one.. went from bringing home around 850 a week then switched to courthouse and made 500 or less some weeks. Tbh I'm surprised sni still has this acct. If you wont more indepth info just pm me.

Everything listed depends on something else.

"Sign On" usually translates as 'paid over time' (in most cases its actually a 'retention bonus' to keep you hanging in with them)
Doubtful they are going to hand you a $3-6K check and the keys to a truck.

"Up To" implies you meet certain criteria to "qualify" for the higher pay per mile or bonus' (safety , minimum miles per month, years of exp., on time driving, etc)

For instance you may find their home time is great, but going home every weekend interferes with the miles you must meet to receive
    one of the listed benefits.

Ask other drivers that work there before doing anything.
Print the list above and ask a Pumpkin driver about what they
    may not be telling you.

The whole thing is a sliding scale basically.

It's all true. With caveats. That top rate and top bonus are for experienced drivers, with 5 years plus. And a good record. A guy just coming out of school or with a year? Not a chance.

Heard from a driver of theirs last year that you needed 250K OTR miles to even apply... Also heard there's usually a long line of experienced applicants and that their selection process is a very lengthy one.
