How much pay should I expect per mile I am new

You’re right moose. All of us older drivers started at a slow process , bought a small Home , might’ve bought a bigger one, but gradually down the line we paid it off. We worked at it day by day . didn’t put us in situations for failure. Same thing with all the owner operators the older ones , they know how to run a truck, their own, And made it work

 

You know all these young whippersnappers out here wanna own their own truck , they don’t know how to do it. They have all the drivers that been doing this for a long time can give them all the advice in the world, but they don’t take it. I guess you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make them drink it it ha ha ha.

 

Everyone wants to start out at the top now. Even employees. They overvalue their skill set and worth. They don’t take advice because they already know everything. Gone is the day of beings humble and taking earnest advice from the guys who have come before.
