I thought about doing this and the numbers I added up came to you really need to haul no less then 3 cars at a time to really make any money. so if you were a "HotShot" your max is 3...You would really need a steady supplyer in 2 spots. I was gonna make I guess a decidacted route... Pick up at point A.... Drive to Point B another car pick up....Have your 3 drops all in route....

But starting any business is tons of work and requires lots of endless hours of work....Dedication

I find the main problem in any business is new business underbiding.... They bid low saying ill make it up on the nextone.... well they loose money then all the other established bussiness are left explaining why they can't match a price, but they normally have loyal customers and don't worry about nubiees coming in.....Goodluck to you...Know what you need to "Turn A Profit"... See if you can find customers 1st. i found that a lot of these load boards are more for filling your trailer not making a living solely off the load board. if you crunch the numbers making a living thru a load board you may want to go work for a company. I've never paid for a load board but the free one open to the public I have pretended to have a business and pretended to get the load based on the winning bid.... And that told me if I was to win all the bids I would of made such a low profit I would loose money when it came time to do thing like buy tires....???

I'd would find your break even number than times it by 3.... that's what I would charge then see if you can find work at that rate... call other companies and get a qoute from them to see if they charge more or less.....Do your home work before diving in head 1st
