How Much Swift Pay for local Drivers ?

    I am thinking to change to be local , my dm told me they pay $12/h , How much you make with $12/h per week ? Thanks for help

    Idk....maybe $6000.00 a week if you work some overtime!

    you mean per month , how can $6000 ?? or you mean 600/week

    Can't say for sure until you talk to some of the local drivers there and find out how many hours a day and how many days a week they drive. Ask them what they make.

    Dang that's crazy if it's true. I made $12/hr working as a cna. I guess you have to take into acct ot as a driver. I can tell you for me to bring home checks in the 900-1000 range every 2 wks I had to work around 60 hrs a wk.

    Oh yeah, most of the time drivers are exempt from getting overtime. No time and a half in this business!

    $12 an hour only is very poor company local driver pay, you could go to work for most temp agencies for $12-13 starting an hour plus get some mileage pay, temp driver pay is usually less than company drivers. Working for decent local gigs are $15-24 an hour for some companies.
