Hi everyone, just a quick question; how much do you guys (owner operators) pay for cargo insurance?
I pay $300 a week, $1200 a month, I talked to my friends and they all of them pay ranging from $600-$1000 a month, so now I am thinking my company is over charging me, I think that's how they make extra money on us.
Thank you for your replies in advance, Iam ready to talk to my company about it, I just want to check with you guys, thanks again

    I pay:

    ~$6500/year for $1M auto liability
    ~$400/year for $1M general liability
~$1800/year for $250K cargo (would have been $1150 for $100K cargo)

Your in one of the ripoff deals where the truck owner pays more than the total cost of 1M liability, Comp and Collision, and $250K Cargo ins. Mine is only $11K per year. I have my own authority, and Im in NY one of the most expensive states for insurance.
