At my carrier you get the next truck out of inspection/detailing. That varies anywhere from brand spankin' new to a few years old - detailed to the point it could be on a truck dealers lot. You're in that truck until they call it in, you leave on an extended absence, or you call it quits.

I've only had the one, and like I said it was in the shop 25% of the time I had it.

    with current company

Started with a 2007 KW T600 with 425k. I stayed in that truck about 8 months. Lost some injectors so I opted for a different truck instead of downtime. Next truck was a 2008 Freightliner Columbia with roughly 350k in it. Stayed in that about 2 months. Current truck I got in february. 2012 Pete 386. Got it with 20 miles on it and about to turn 36k

since im still the bottom guy ad havent been assigned a truck yet, I get whatever they feel like giving me. Once im assigned a truck it is yours to use, do whatever you like to it etc... once im on the list i will assigned a truck

is the Cascadia much of an improvement over the Columbia? it looks like the cab/sleeper is a little bigger on the Cascadia, plus the styling and such is sharper.
