I clean my glass, a lot, and my chrome not quite as often, wash the truck when I'm home. Unless it's raining.

Also, I don't use the commercial truck washes. That high pressure hose in the engine compartment? No thanks. I do some high pressure driveline and engine cleaning once in a while at a coin truck wash here in ABQ when I want that done.

I don't really like paying people I don't know to be around my truck doing stuff.

Used to steam clean dad's truck every weekend. 2 or 3 times a week when they sprayed calcium on the roads for dust control. Truck wasn't clean unless you could eat off the engine and the insides of the frame rails.

I wash mine about every two weeks. If I'm around a self service wash, I'll do it myself, but just the truck. Otherwise, it costs between $90-115 depending on where I am. I have them do truck/trailer/engine/trailer deck basically everything they are willing/capable of doing.

Company has automatic truck washes in some OC's so whenever I go through one that has one the truck gets washed.

It also gets washed every time it rains! ;-)

I clean the windshield and mirrors every day though. With the good stuff, not that crappy junk at fuel islands.

White truck too... Right now it's kind of brown. But hey, company no pay for company truck to be clean? Company truck won't be clean.

Company pays for 1 wash a month at Blue Beacon, and that's what it gets.

Unless I'm at the yard. And the guy that washes trucks feels like working.

If they pay me I will do what they want.

No pay, they can wash it when it sits in the yard. Just say no to free work.
