How old is the oldest driver you know?

People now days don't realize the each generation before us had learned to work harder than the next!!
hard physical workers in America especially is of days gone by! In thin technical age every one wants to make money the easy way that's why America has become fat and lazy and are military has a hard time finding healthy individuals to serve!
yep that's America Fat and lazy!!

 

We had a driver that was in his 70's retire a little while back due to his eyes. Drove 50 years without a preventable accident or a ticket. When Phil would talk... I would listen. A great guy with a great attitude and a smile with a kind word for everyone. Drove all kinds of equipment in all kinds of conditions. He even brought in pictures one day of the trucks he used to drive. He could (and should) write a book about all he has seen and done.

Guys from this generation get the lane in front of me every time.

 

I had a student this year that was 68. But the oldest one I know is around 75.

 

I know a guy who works local still hauling grain and he's 81, but he's retiring this year. Love to see older drivers out there still! They are still some of the good guys who will actually stop and see if you need help. Most drivers anymore just care for there self. Need more guys like the old boys!
