It's nice to see that the FMCSA gives out good info sometimes, instead of ramming regulation down our throat all the time. Thought you were going to show me something about a new Sleep Apnea and/or BMI...

However, if that individual cannot move around enough to do his or her job, along with being a serious heart attack and stroke risk, then that individual needs to be TEMPORARILY taken out of his or her driving job until the weight comes way down to much healthier levels. That 400 pound plus too much of a risk to be out on the road.

The problem with the BMI Chart (measurement), is it was factored in the 1950's when everyone considered "normal" was 5' 7" and 145 lbs.----we have evolved to a larger body (both height and weight), so even those in great shape now-a-days are considered "obese". The system doesn't fit the times.

BMI is off topic tho, lol. Yesterday I saw in person 2 drivers that I was tempted to follow to see how they actually squeezed into their seat in a truck. What happens when they're at a shipper that requires them to make sure the trailer is clean? Checking the 5th wheel jaws? I was threatened to be sent home during my physical at orientation because the doc thought she saw my jacket brush the table during the duck walk exercise. I just don't know how you can bypass all that when you're 500 lbs.
