I realize it may be difficult to not stress over a "test", but the written it is not at all difficult for people of less than average intelligence to score 100%. I've seen a perfect idiot score 100% (and pass the road test).
Literally millions of drivers have passed the test with no test test questions available to them, including me.
How similar are these practice tests to the real deal?

I only did practice the sts from this site and others. I took them all as they all had a couple different questions. Never opened a book ever. Took cdl permit, tanker and hazmat. Passed them all.
Things I never saw were how many seconds to get through a railroad crossing. 14 seconds
And a couple others I'll try and remember -
Yeah, I'm probably over analysing everything. i just want to make sure I get my permit on the first try so I can get started with my training.

Went down and took my general knowledge and passed it, going to wait until tomorrow for my air brakes and combo's. Not sure if this is standard for all states but in MI they make you pick what endorsements you want up front so I picked them all(including passenger, school bus) except hazmat.
Snowshoes Thanks this. -
Bah, I waffled on the air brakes test by 1 question! I did get my tanker, combo, & passenger test aced though. So I have to go back tomorrow for air brakes. doubles/triples, and school bus.

Your moving right along. Good job! If its on computer like Az. Don't guess pass on a question you don't 100% know. Hopes you'll get a better one
UKJ Thanks this. -
Thanks! Yeah, it's all on touchscreen computer boxes. I skipped some questions but it was asking stuff I didn't even read in the book. I am going back over the book now, but it asked about a stop light switch which I don't even remember reading about. So I am going back through that section now. I am probably trying to go through too much at once and forgetting things.

Got my permit today! Now just have to find a company to get started with. I tried calling schools around here but they want $3,000+ upfront no payment plans and the community college will let you use student loan but wants $8,500!
