How similar are these practice tests to the real deal?

I did a few practice tests there seemed to be pretty close, the information in the DMV hand book was good, if you can pass the practice tests and can answer the questions in each section of the DMV handbook you should be ok, worked out just fine for me anyway.

I'm in Michigan. I found a school though that is a 200hr course and she's trying to get me in either with WIA or student loan. It's 15 weeks but only 5(8hr days, 5 days a week) to get CDL and the other 10 are while I am at a company of my choice.

I was in talks with prime but got stuck with a lame recruiter and they won't let me switch recruiters so I am not wasting my time with them. I'd rather start out doing what I want to do anyway so I am going to try for a dry bulk company as soon as I get done with school.

Yeah, it wasn't to bad, But for those reading and want to pass the test, make sure to read the book too, because there's a lot of stuff(in MI anyway) that they'll ask that don't show up on these practice tests.

Same in Cali, if you dont read the CDL Handbook you will have a hard time with it, and it doesn't take all that much time to read through the CDL Handbook

Always read the questions slowly. Sometimes, the questions will have a word added or removed to make it sound different. Whatever one does however, DO NOT ADD OR REMOVE a word to make the question sound better!

There very accurate I used them almost exclusively right before I started school and they were better than what we used there.

Dang skippy, for me it was hard enough so why try and trick me on top of that. Good advice G. Anthony and if I can add "take your time and read the questions" Best of luck testing!

    UKJ Thanks this.

When I went for my license renewal in 2014, I had to take the hazmat test as well. (each time we renew every 5 years is when we renew hazmat), I studied all of 3 books, that had the answers. I studied online sites as well.

Got to the DMV, and I'd say 50% were NOT in any of the books OR online! I barely passed this time. And the ones THAT WERE online or in the books? Some of them were "re-worded", making an assumption of what they meant a BIG NO-NO!

Huh, well at least you renewed. But really why make it anymore difficult on a person just wanting to go to work doing something they are excited to do.

Maybe I'm just not good at studying:yes2557:
