It's not just OTR guys that suffer.
For instance, when I get home late at night and all I have time for is a shower and to eat something, then to bed, that is not healthy either.
So, you guys that aren't doing OTR but are eating late at night and not having much time (if any at all) to be active before heading to sleep, have to watch it too!
How the hell do u stay healthy?

When I was local hauling gas, I literally had 10 hours exactly to be back to work. I still made time for work outs, and I lived 45 minutes one way from the yard. Find a gym near by. Hit it for 30 quick minutes before work.

Courtney here well I stay in shape by doing a few minutes exercise, in my truck, leg lifts, crunches, ect. I dont eat fast food, I do my own cooking in the truck, or if it is a fast day I have all I need to make my own wraps. I actually do all my pretrips, circle tire checks evey 3 hours and my post trip. If I am at a nice rest area at the end of the day I will go for a bit of a walk. Since I do not eat beef or pork, fast food or junk food I usually dont have to worry too much about putting on weight. Lots of veggies gives you most of your vit and minerals, others come from beans, fish, chicken turkey ect.

Run Forest Run. Run 30 minutes.
Your fat ### sits behind the wheel of a truck for 10 hours at a shot. Get a pair of shoes and RUN for just 30 minuets a day.

You know... when I'm done with my 10 or 11 hr driving, I feel so wired and eager to move that I almost always run around the truck, checking the lights, go under trailer inspecting hoses, brakes, hitting the tires, climb on the front wheels and clean windshields, inspect parts under the hood, then clean windows... It normaly takes 30 mins... and it helps me to unwind a little...
MNdriver Thanks this. -
I kinda was......... Sorry it's hard to break out of. LOL
But really 30 minutes to not die of having a ars? Is it that difficult. -
It's best to work out before you start your day. Get that metabolism up and you'll have more energy.
-
Working out is also a matter of motivation.
Prior Service guys should know all about this.
