A high school kid might be willing to look after it.

Maybe leasiing a truck. It’s not something anyone would recommend for new driver because the odds are kinda stacked against you. Some trucking companies do walk away leases. It would be your truck and your truck payment every week but you could also probably have as many dogs as you wanted.

When the dog gets tired, the cat can give it a massage:

No pets during training, companies call it different things. Until you have a solo truck, no pets.
Ask around the animal shelter or a pet rescue about holding your pet until you can bring it. You are an adult. YOU need to not go through life assuming that the world will change its rules to make you happy. Only about 25% of trucking companies allow pets in their trucks. Most of those 25% have specific rules about how big of a pet or how many pets. It's irresponsible to not check on those rules before you pick a place to work. NOT EVERY COMPANY IS GOOD FOR EVERY EMPLOYEE. If you haven't had the pet very long, give your pet away to someone with room and time to take care of him/them. Once you are settled into a trucking job and have time you can get another pet. Just because you bought the pet recently doesn't mean everyone must adjust to your new reality. YOU must adjust to the world if you are an employee. I am a pet person and having my pet with me was important. You need to be responsible not make rash decisions.

As someone who’s had dogs riding with them (current one has been everywhere with me since 2016) and as someone who’s spent a bunch of money to take my dog to Hawaii when I was there for 4 months, sometimes being an adult sucks. You’ve made the choice to have two dogs and now you’re seeing how that is affecting you. It’s going to be far easier for you to build your life around having 2 dogs than it will be trying to skirt rules and try and bend things so you can drive truck with one and see the other one a few times a year. To put it bluntly, the dog left behind will be more bonded to the caregiver than the person who visits once in a while, so at that point you may as well jus have the one dog with you and save the money that would be spent on the other.
