I've been posting riding locations and stuff to this Facebook group,
https://www.facebook.com/groups/157997284394035/
I'd encourage any drivers who travel with bikes to join the group and discuss riding locations, means of carrying your bikes, and challenges of scheduling rides on the road.
How to carry a bicycle on your truck?

i'm post there as well... it would be great to have a few more people writing about rides on the road. The more i've been looking, the more great places to ride near a truckstop or rest area, i find

If things work out I'm gonna be back into the OTR driving soon, & the bike is going if any way possible.

Hello. I was wondering two things..
1. Im 6'3" 350 solid.. What would be a good bike for me, and where do I shop?
2. I drive a New Cascadia with a Flatbed Conestoga. I thought about strapping my future bike down somehow.. if i can successfully, D.O.T will never see it there, it will stay dry, and it wont be in the way.
Im trying to mix a hard days work in flatbed and cycling when im sitting still. It should be a good combo... and ideas? Thanks! -
You could just try walking too. -
i will use the bike for riding around cities i pickup/deliver in or when im sitting for the weekend. Im not going to race or do tricks on it. I don't want to fall off or break the bike. I thought of just walking, but in unfamiliar towns i trust no one. Also i cant park a semi just anywhere.. riding a bike to run errands like Walmart, corner store, or to a supply store would work great for me.
