    Hello,

One of my codes, coolant level temperature is not allowing me to perform a regen. Mechanic shop was supposed to work with my warranty but messed up by claiming a part that isn’t covered caused the mechanical failure. I’m changing the water pump myself, but was wondering how would be able to then clear codes for me to perform a regen ?
2008 international prostar ? Just unhook the batteries ?

If you repair the condition in which the fault is coming active it should not need to be cleared. Low coolant or coolant temp faults once corrected should go inactive after a key cycle and short 1 min runtime if we are talking Cummins. Once the fault is inactive it will not affect the trucks ability to regen. If you still have an active CEL it will need to be troubleshot.
