Let me ask you this, you have a signed load confirmation that says 3800.00 right? Then the load had better #### well pay 3800.
If the customer changes their minds at the last moment and additional cost is incurred due to their decision, it is up to them to make up the difference. -

as well the point that is being left out here is was the 3800 the amount the broker was getting paid, or the amount the truck was getting paid?
to take a credit card fee out of the truck share to me is dirty business. -
Not an owner op here, but it's pretty obvious that the broker was hoping your boyfriend would be stupid/gullible. He gambled and won.
